      How to create an email broadcast

      Send bulk marketing emails to your clients. Select from ready to use templates or create your own from scratch.

      1. Click on settings ⚙️
      2. Click on marketing tools, then select email campaigns
      3. Click + Create broadcast campaigns
      4. Choose from our templates or build your own
      5. Build out your email content.
      6. You can add blocks to include title, text, button, image, promo code and horizontal line. We recommend sending a test email to yourself so you can see what the client will see and make any relevant changes.
      7. To publish your campaign, you will need to click save.  
      8. Add a broadcast name, this is only visible to you.
      9. Add a subject line. We recommend something short and snappy to entice clients. E.g Exclusive Xmas Nail Offer - 50% Off!
      10. Choose your recipients:
        - All clients
        - Selected client groups
        - Selected clients

      11. Schedule your broadcast or send straightaway. 

      Please note, emails will be sent from a no-reply email address. This means that clients cannot directly respond to these emails by replying. 

      FAQ's

       

      How much does email broadcasts cost?
      There is a transaction fee of 1p per email, per client. You can keep track of your spend in the payments section of your app under 'Email & SMS Invoices'.

       

      Why do I need a connected Stripe account?
      Stripe is the secure payment platform that we use with Solo. You will require a connected Stripe account to use the email broadcast feature as this is how you are billed for your any marketing emails.

       

      How does payment work for email invoices?
      An invoice for your usage each week (email's sent Monday-Sunday) will be created on Sunday. The payment for the invoices will then be deducted and paid from the online payments you receive from your clients. This helps avoid any extra transaction charges on your account.

       

      Do I have to take online payments to use the email feature?
      No. You will still be required to connect a Stripe account and you will need to manually add funds for the invoice payments to be taken from. Please note, in this case additional transaction charges may apply via Stripe.

       

      Can I set emails to send automatically?
      We will be launching automated email campaigns very soon! For now, this email broadcast feature is to send one-off emails to clients of your choice.
